- The Energy Forum of Western Pennsylvania is comprised of
local citizens working together to learn and to educate the public
about the coming crisis in energy availability.

- A website by the US Department of Energy that has
information on gas mileage, alternative fuel vehicles, and safety
information for new and used cars and trucks. Includes a gas mileage
calculator.

- Aims to rebuild societies based on the local production of
food and energy, and the Relocalization of currency, governance and
culture. The main goals of Relocalization are to increase community
energy security, strengthen local economies, and dramatically improve
environmental conditions and social equity.

- CERTS is an organization that works with the citizens of
Minnesota to develop a plan for using energy wisely and developing

industry trends. They Demonstrate alternatives to sprawl and petroleum

involve the whole community.
